You will never feel prepared for what He is asking you to do. God doesn’t get mad at Moses the first time he questions God’s call. You should be overwhelmed when you hear God’s call but don’t keep arguing.
Sometimes it’s the right thing to be upset with those you’re leading. There were times in the life of Moses where he lost it for the right reasons. Sometimes your people need to see you upset about things that are going to destroy them.
Your heart needs to be willing to give up everything for them. The heart of Moses for those he led was incredible. No matter how many times they failed, he still fought for them before the Lord. You need to do the same.
Delegation never comes easily. Even a great leader like Moses struggled with delegation. You should check this in your own ministry on a consistent basis.
Strong personalities make great leaders. God never shied away from strong personalities. If you count people out of leadership because they have strong personalities, you will miss out on leaders like Moses, David, and Peter.
Your apprentice’s faith will be a reflection of your faith. Joshua’s faith was a reflection of Moses’ faith. You are impacting generations for good or bad so seize the opportunity!
