Thursdays

There are two days a week that I don’t really get to see my son—Tuesdays and Thursdays. I load all of my after-work meetings into those two days so that I can see him on the other days of the week. Tuesdays are usually ok! More because we spend every moment that he is awake together on Mondays. Thursdays however, are starting to really get to me. I put him in his car seat in the morning and see him again Friday morning. He doesn’t mind because he spends the day with his grandmother and his best friend—her dog. I however, am getting worse and worse at coping with the distance. 

I wonder how God feels when we don’t take the time to see Him for days at a time? It’s personal never forget that.
